I let down to what?!?!?!
One day, I was perusing blogs when I came across a lovely pair of boots. Now, I am not a huge boot person. I am not too tall (5'4") and get more height from my torso than my legs. On top of that, I have a butt and I have muscular legs. All of this is a recipe for the "tuck" not going too well or looking super great. PLUS, my calves are pretty thick and I have trouble finding boots that will fit over my legs and a pair of pants (see above re muscular legs). ANYWAY, I was just as shocked as anyone when I saw this gorgeous pair of boots and, all of a sudden, felt a tingly sensation in the boobs. Yes, my milk was letting down. For those of you who don't know what that means, it means that I saw these boots and my body reacted by expressing milk, like it does when my son cries, or starts to feed or I pump. These boots moved me so much that I started to squirt. Here they are:
I mean seriously? SERIOUSLY?!?! Shoot, I gotta stop looking at these boots because I can feel it starting again.

First Kiss
So, whenever I have a bad day, or a down moment, or am just sad for some reason I like to think of something happy. You know what my go to happy thought is? Remembering my and B's first kiss. We met right before I turned 21, at a bar (shame!), that only served beer in mini-pitchers (no shame!), right after I broke up with the worst guy (for me) in the world. I was pretty turned off to the idea of having a relationship, but this guy was hot, wanted to take me to a nice restaurant for dinner and I thought "What the hell?" So off to Flemings we went. He came to my apartment on campus and picked me up. We went to dinner. Then we wandered around Utica Square (this precious little place in Tulsa). I was pretty nervous through the whole dinner and was walking pretty fast when we were "wandering." After we finished walking we went back to B's house to talk some more and play pool. After a few hours of talking, playing pool and watching TV, it was getting late (and was a Wednesday) so we decided to head back to my apartment and call it a night. So we walked out to the garage to get in the car. He opened the door for me (such the gentleman) and right before I got in the car, he wrapped his arm around my waist, pulled me close and kissed me. The most perfect kiss I've ever had. *SIGH* Even now, just thinking about it makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside. I love that man and his kisses!
What was your best first kiss?

Two Months Old
(So, I typed this one a few weeks ago and have been having serious computer problems so I am just now getting to post it.)
My Sweet Angel Boy
My baby boy, you are two months old. Every single day you do something to amaze your Mama and Daddy. You regularly smile at us and play the "tongue sticking out" game. Oh your sweet smiles melt my heart. I just can't get enough of them and will do whatever silly thing you want me to do in order to make you smile. We have had a busy time lately. Momma went back to work and you started at daycare. The ladies at daycare say you are doing quite well. You are the youngest little one there, but you are by no means the smallest. It has been nice to realize how much you might be eating from Mama. You take 5 ounces of breastmilk in a bottle a few times a day at daycare and Mama comes to feed you at lunch. Our lunch time together is my favorite part of the day. I miss you so much during the day. Daddy picks you up from daycare and you typically are playing with him when I come home. There are few things that make me happier than seeing you and your Daddy playing together. You love your Daddy and your Daddy loves you. You make us so happy and we love you to bits and pieces!
Feed: You LOVE your food. LOVE LOVE LOVE! When you're at daycare you have three 5 ounce bottles every 3-ish hours and Mama feeds you at lunch. When you're home and only nursing you still want to eat close to every two hours unless you are asleep, then you might go a bit longer. You are becoming a more efficient eater, but now you like to linger a bit at the end and just soothe yourself. I have only recently come to understand that and now I try to recognize when you're finished eating and just playing.
Weight: You weighed 6 lb 15 oz when you were born. Now you are 14 lb 10 oz, you are in the 97% for your weight. Such a big guy! You are such a good eater :)
Length: When you were born, you were 19.5 inches. Now you are 23.5 inches, that's the 73%. You are just a growing machine (your head is 40.25 cm - 63%).
Diaper Size: We finished up our last box of size 1's and started you in size 2's and they fit you great.
Clothes Size: All of your newborn clothes have been packed away and all of your 0-3 summer clothes. You are now in 0-3 months, 3 month and 3-6 month clothes (if we are out of warm jammies we'll put you in a 6 month jammie and it isn't huge on you)
Hair Color: You were born with a full head of very dark hair, but it is quickly becoming blonde and a tinge of red. I love your soft hair. You still have this funny little mullet and your Uncle Scott is so jealous because he was bald for the first 2 years of his life.
Eye Color: You have such beautiful eyes. When you were born they were very dark blue. Now they are a lighter blue and I'm hoping they stay that way, although if you have brown eyes like your Daddy that is fine too.
Funniest Moment: Playing the tongue sticking out game. You love it and give us such big smiles. Also, you danced to "Roxanne" one day and it was so adorable. You do something every single day that entertains us. Also funny was the discussion that your Daddy and I had about your baptismal gown.
Favorite Toy: You really like your play mat and still love going on walks with Mama and Daddy. You now love your swing and really like to take naps in it. You still love being on your changing table and just staring. You love to hit the rings on your playmat with both your hands and your feet. However, I think your most favorite toys are becoming Mama and Daddy's faces. You also love when Mama or Daddy support you and you can stand. Mama calls you "Mr. Standy-Man." You also love bath time.
Firsts: First TU's Homecoming. First time in a fraternity house house (we went Daddy's fraternity at Homecoming). First laugh. First time to imitate Mama and Daddy. You had your baptism. You met two of Mama's best friends, Erin and Barnett. You went to your first restaurant and slept the entire time like a good boy. First day at daycare. First shots :( First real tears (Mama hasn't seen them, but Daddy has).

BABY STATS
Sleep: You typically go to bed at 8:45 pm and are up around 7:00 am. However, now that daylight savings time has started (ended?) you are going to bed about an hour earlier and getting up around 6:30 am. You will go for 5-6 hours once you go to bed then get up needing a change and wanting to eat. You typically go down easily after this first feeding. You then get up around 5:00 am and need a change and sometimes want to eat (sometimes Mama just feeds you because it comforts you and you don't really eat that much - yes, bad habit to start, no, I don't really care right now).
Routine: On days Mama works, Mama gets up around 6:00 am and starts getting ready. You stir between 6:30 am and 7:00 am and I go get you, change you, feed you and put you in your crib to watch your mobile. When you're at school you eat a bottle around 9, 2 and 4 (Mama comes and feeds you at lunch time). You play on the playmat at school and love it. You also nap like a champ there still. When we're home together, we play after you eat in the morning, then you go down for a nap between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. You typically sleep for an hour or so then we wake up, change, eat and play some more before you want to eat again and go down for a nap sometime between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Then you sleep for a couple hours, wake up and we do it all over again until around 4:00 or 5:00 pm when you want to take a short little nap. We watch your cues at night and start you getting ready for bed between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm. Then we put you down and start the sleeping routine all over again.

Mama and Daddy love you so very much. You are the light in our lives. I smother you with kisses and hugs all the time. So many people ask about you all the time. Everyone tells me how handsome you are and I agree. You are the cutest baby ever! I am torn between having you stay tiny forever and being very excited to see the next stages in your life. You are so wonderful!

Seriously Thursday
Oh, Lordy, there is so much I am saying "Seriously" about this week so, here it goes:
- SERIOUSLY . . . I'm in the market for a new job because . . .
- SERIOUSLY . . . I lost my job this week, 2 weeks after coming back from maternity leave and that's really all I'm going to say about it.
- SERIOUSLY . . . This means that I get to spend more time with my sweet baby.
- SERIOUSLY . . . I already have a lot of feelers out so hopefully something will come sooner than later (although, because of the holidays, I'm not really expecting anything until January at the earliest, but will take something sooner if it comes).
- SERIOUSLY . . . We are having baby's first roadtrip next week. Texas here we come!
- SERIOUSLY . . . I think B is more excited about B Jr going to Texas than anything else right now.
- SERIOUSLY . . . We're doing Christmas at Thanksgiving w/ B's family next week and I need to get their gifts together - at least I know what they are going to be :)
- SERIOUSLY . . . Since I'm out a job, I will have the chance to go up to StL and let my friends meet my little guy :)
- SERIOUSLY . . . I FINALLY got my hair done for the first time since July. I was WAY overdue.
- SERIOUSLY . . . My baby's sweet sleeping face melts my heart.
- SERIOUSLY . . . I don't even mind getting up with him in the night because the second I hold him I'm filled with all sorts of warm fuzzies.
- SERIOUSLY . . . I'm digging the show Revenge. If you aren't watching it, you should.
- SERIOUSLY . . . Quiznos brought back the honey bacon club! I was so bummed when it was gone and so happy it's back!
- SERIOUSLY . . . I need to go get ready to go into work to finish up some stuff this week.
- SERIOUSLY . . . I truly have the greatest husband in the world. He is so supportive and loving and I can't imagine my life without him.
- SERIOUSLY . . . That's a lot of "Seriously"s
- SERIOUSLY . . . Go check out the fabulous Ms. Becky over at From Mrs. to Mama and tell us what you're saying "Seriously!?!?!" about today.

Sorry I've been away
I know I've been way MIA lately. My computer has been dying a slow and painful death. I went back to work so I've been soaking up every second of the evenings with my kiddo. However, I lost my job this week and finally gotten my files moved from my laptop to our desktop. So, hopefully I'll be back on track here soon. I have B Jr's 2 month post ready, but need to put his pics on it before I post it. I promise I'll be back in action.

Actual conversation in my house tonight
S: Did you know that I'm saving us over $100 a month?
B: With that Amazon deal?
S: No, with my boobs!
I totally think that deserves new clothes and shoes, don't you?
